Ten minute breath holding time is impressive. I had to get an MRI a few years ago and could barely go thirty seconds. My lungs had gotten a little fucked up though so that didn’t help, but still. Impressive.

And I realize now that some readers might think that the stomach-mouth did Ed’s breathing for him somehow, but I want to direct everyone’s attention to these two panels from the first chapter, where Ed says definitively that the inside of the stomach-mouth isn’t connected to his own stomach, and if it was connected to any part of his insides, it would that and not his lungs.

That sure is some ten-year-old art, huh? Jackson’s feelings about Ed’s situation haven’t changed.

Everyone’s got their own shit and they don’t have to talk to anyone about it but sometimes talking helps. Santiago feels much better about the situation knowing that Jackson is clued into whatever Ed’s deal is, so she knows he’s not alone and has someone looking out for him, even if that someone can’t be her.

I absolutely LIVE for those times in movies when people jump off of things and punch people on their way down.

Door Kick is my favorite sound effect and I put it in as many comics as I can.

Jackson and Santiago make a good team but Fields look like he’s having second thoughts about the whole thing.

The panel where’s Ed’s being kicked into the pool is my favorite panel in this chapter. He has a gun to his head but that just makes him ornery.
