Ziah: An astronaut wearing a parachute lets you know this is hardcore. Also, just noticed for the first time that Jordan made the Prez’s nameplate just POTUS, which is phenomenal.
Jordan: I wasn’t even done reading the script for this page and I knew I needed to draw it. “Panel 1: an astronaut way up in the air wearing a parachute. Panel 2: they land on the lawn of the White House.” THAT’S IT. I’M IN.
This was the first comic I drew that someone else wrote, and it was a lot of fun! I like drawing my own comics, but working from other people’s scripts is something I’m definitely going to keep doing also.
Best way to start any story, ever.
